Two separate checks
A details check records what official operator or regulator pages publish on a stated date. It identifies the market, currency and unresolved gaps. It does not test deposits, withdrawals, support quality or player eligibility.
A rating assessment is separate. The numerical scores inherited from Gamble Inspector have been withdrawn from current rankings pending a documented reassessment. A fresh source date does not revive them.
How a current rating is published
An editor must record four scores from 0 to 5, an actual assessment date, and evidence explaining the assessment and its limitations. The four areas are Trust, Games, Bonuses and Support. Overall is their arithmetic mean, rounded to two decimals. Completed assessments sort from highest score to lowest; ties and unrated entries sort alphabetically.
Assessment evidence
- Trust: identify the legal operator, validate the exact domain and current licence through the regulator, inspect account/withdrawal and safer-gambling rules, and document relevant unresolved concerns. A licence claim alone is insufficient.
- Games: inspect provider and game variety, rules and published restrictions. Do not infer independently certified fairness from a lobby listing.
- Bonuses: verify the local promotion, wagering basis, excluded games/payments, deadlines, maximum bet and cashout caps. Bonus size alone does not determine quality.
- Support: record the actual contact test, date, channel and result before judging responsiveness. Published contact details are distinct from a tested service.
Use 1 for a documented poor result, 2 for below standard, 3 for acceptable, 4 for strong and 5 for exceptional evidence across the relevant area. A 0 is a documented failure, never a substitute for unknown. Leave a category unscored if evidence is insufficient; no current overall is shown until all four are assessed. Every numerical judgment must have a written rationale.
Markets and freshness
The site is international English. Every offer identifies the market and currency observed. It is not a universal offer or confirmation that gambling is lawful in the reader’s location. A source check is due within 30 days unless an earlier date is specified. Expired or overdue bonus guides leave the active collection automatically while their URLs remain available.
Research limits
The 1 November 2026 refresh used public official pages and available regulator material. It did not open player accounts, make deposits, wager, request withdrawals or contact support. Regional access restrictions, inconsistent pages and unresolved domain-level licence checks are disclosed on the affected reviews. None of the old star scores has been represented as a new tested rating.
